Last week saw both grown ups and children writing from the same prompt. The picture was taken in Gloucester Cathedral and was part of a sculpture called ‘The Fast Supper’. It was part of an amazing exhibition called ‘Crucible’. Do go and have a look at some of the other wonderful creations. You may see one you recognise! Also, do pop and see what the children came up with – some of them were amazing! CHILDREN
You grown ups really stretched those imagination threads and goodness you do give me such a hard time thinking of ways to challenge you! We had some new entrants last week so do make sure you pop and comment on them. We don’t want them to think we are not supportive of each other!WEEK#16
Now for this week, I’m pinching (with permission!) an idea from my dear friend Jenny Matlock. You may not be old enough to know this rhyme:
Remember remember the fifth of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder, treason
Should ever be forgot…
Now it has a rhythm to it – yes? Your challenge this week is to write something with the same rhythm using only 21 words that include ‘ …in winter we shiver…‘ Easy!
If you have stumbled here by chance and wonder what on earth this is all about, have a look at this explanation and join in!
The link will be open until midnight on Monday 7th Nov. Now I’m off to find that metronome!
Click here to enter your link. This will take you to another page but I will transfer it to this page later!
