Challenge#8 – Tweeps

#6 – @RichardFiona

This is @RichardFiona.

She is a tweep I met when I visited a Teachmeet in Cardiff. She is one of the most passionate folks I know who will inspire you about early years learning. She’s pretty fab in the IT department too!

#5 – @mullinski

Another educator tweep to meet! Say hello to @Mullinski. She is soon to be a head teacher so congratulations on the new appointment.

She is very enthusiastic about blogging and 100 Word Challenge and will be introducing both in her new school!

In the meantime, enjoy a well deserved Easter break!

Meet another of my tweeps – @helendaykin

She is Pearl’s mummy. Pearl was supposed to join us on 24th October which is not only my wedding anniversary but was also the due date of my grand daughter. Well, Miss Daykin decided she was not going to share her birthday and joined us on 30th August – 8 weeks early!!

As you can imagine, @helendaykin and family went through some worrying times but I’m happy to say that Pearl is doing very well and catching up rapidly!

I met her mummy at BETT 2013 where she was encouraging us to look closely at the great resource that is I Am Learning!

#3 – @chrismayoh

Here is the third in this challenge. @chrismayoh is a lovely lad and a real star ( hence the film style border).

He is very generous in his advice and support and always there to help those of us who might struggle with some of the techy side of blogging etc. He has been shortlisted for a NAACE award for ‘For revolutionising opportunities for independent learning and for implementing rigorous processes for e-safety training’.

I met up with him at a Start Up Week-End where true to form, he had given up his time to join a group of budding entreprenuers.

Good Luck Sir!

#2 – @Helloitsgemma

I had a lovely coffee break recently because I met up with my twitter friend @helloitsgemma.

She and her family have moved to my city and we had promised ourselves a meet up and a chat.

Well, chat we did! We covered families, schools, jobs, blogging and put the rest of the world right. It is great having a tweep near and we have already planned another meet-up!

#1 – @dancingrain2012

I think this Challenge is going to be one of my favourites! Meeting new people.
First in the challenge is @dancingrain2012. She lives in Israel but hails from Manchester. We were able to meet up when we were on a shopping trip. We talked about all sorts of things including the various 100 Word Challenges and we might even look at setting one up in Hebrew!
Do have a look at the tab ’13 Challenges’ at the top of the page and the drop down menu to see how I’m doing! Early days yet of course!

I love it when you comment!
